TELESCOP 2

From the TELESCOP 2 HSQB thread:

Northern Illinois University will be hosting a second iteration of TELESCOP (Tournament of Exciting Learning Experiences with SCOP) on 29 October 2011. The tournament will be run on SCOP 2. Please contact NIUquizbowl@gmail.com if you are interested in mirroring the set.

This is a novice tournament. Players who have actively participated in a national tournament are disqualified from entering. Though this is the only official eligibility guideline, players who are known to be of a higher caliber will be excluded as well, and we will review the case of any player who has attended nationals but may still qualify as a novice. If you have any questions about whether your players are eligible, please contact NIUquizbowl@gmail.com.

Entry fees:
Basic entry fee: $50/team
Extra team discount: -$5/additional team (If your team has more than eight players, we strongly suggest fielding a second team)
Buzzer discount: -$5/working buzzer (maximum 1/team)
SCOP team discount: -$20

To register, inquire about player eligibility, ask about mirroring the set, or with other questions, please e-mail NIUquizbowl@gmail.com

We're very excited to be hosting this again, and we're looking forward to seeing you there. If you will be unable to work this event, QBA members, please let me know ASAP.
